When Setske reached out to The Copy Therapist, she was eager to establish a strong digital presence and raise awareness about her unique offerings. Although she has over 20 of expertise, she had limited brand visibility, lacked an established location, and many potential clients were unfamiliar with her therapeutic modalities. With the goal of building credibility and growing her client base, Setske wanted her website to reflect the compassionate, safe healing environment she offers in person.
Our collaboration began with a shared vision: to create messaging that resonated with her audience’s needs for emotional release and holistic well-being, all while positioning Celtic Rose as a trusted source of healing in the online wellness space.
Setske wanted her website to align with her holistic healing practice, reflecting her gentle, non-invasive therapies and client-led approach. The intention was to recreate the very same safe, warm environment she effortlessly fosters in her healing sessions.
She sought to resonate with her best-fit clients' desire for compassionate, safe healing while clearly differentiating her services from more recognised wellness approaches. We needed to ensure that even in establishing her credibility, the language on her website avoided being overly clinical, prescriptive, or overwhelming.

Setske’s communication style centres on helping clients feel at ease, creating a space where they feel safe to speak freely and share their thoughts and experiences. Her brand of copy is mindful and empathic, aware of how each individual may be feeling in the present moment. It balances warmth and professional clarity, ensuring that clients feel both supported and guided in their healing journey.
Setske's clients are often self-aware empaths seeking relief from chronic stress, chronic pain, and burnout. They tend to overextend themselves, professionally and personally, prioritising others over their own wellbeing. They often come to Setske because they yearn for balance and are finally ready to invest in holistic therapy that works on all levels. But many have experienced trauma and/or struggle with expressing their emotions, so finding an empowering, compassionate guide who allows them to take the lead in their healing journey is essential.
Setske avoids prescriptive terms like “should,” “have to,” or “need to,” respecting that each client’s journey is deeply personal. Instead, the language should focus on possibilities, choices, and gentle encouragement, creating an inviting, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their healing.
The language style was to stay warm, friendly and empathic, but equally professional and clear. Setske did't want to sound too clinical or detached but rather enthusiastic for potential clients.

My approach for the website was to lead with empowerment, compassion, and autonomy—values that are central to Setske’s practice. These qualities informed the tone and messaging across every page, ensuring the copy felt supportive, nurturing, and aligned with the safe environment she creates in her in-person sessions. This included adding CTAs that encouraged readers to choose their own path and foregrounding Setske own personal story of trauma recovery.
VoC research revealed a shared resistance to diving too deep into past trauma and releasing trapped emotions—clients were afraid of being overwhelmed. The agitation sections were saved for addressing the fear straight on and positioning SER and CST as the gentle, client-led solutions they are. As every client's trauma experience is unique, we made the decision to lead with burnout—inviting the reader to explore it in the context they felt most aligned with.
The approach also included outlining next steps in clear terms, adding a dedicated How it Works Page, and foregrounding their own body as their most helpful guide—with burnout simply being its call for support as opposed to something to be fixed. Our 'You' game was strong for this project.
Setske was very clear about not wanting to foreground herself as a healer—she is a support and guide as her clients tap into their own inner healer. The homepage was essential for establishing Setske's deeply entrenched philosophy and North Star, setting the tone for each page thereafter.
Setske's client's often come to her in a state of absolute burnout and vulnerability. They are used to overextending themselves so it was important to reframe burnout as an opportunity to reclaim their lives—rather than something to fix. Choice became the most important element we could add into her web copy. That, and encouragement.
Setske story is an incredible journey through the depths of grief, PTSD, and trauma recovery, with the modalities she offers being the very ones that set her on a path of holistic therapy. It was important to not only honour her origins but use it to inspire hope in the very clients she loves to serve.
Setske has built an incredible pool of testimonials to pull from which offered plenty of VoC to use as a crossheads and copy throughout her sales pages. As her flagship service, her CranioSacral sales page is a beautiful example of when brand philosophy, client values, and target audience align effortlessly.
